This program is an activity being offered by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta that is linear with several majors found at universities that collaborate with UNY. At that time, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta established a Memorium of Understanding with Management and Science University. Furthermore, this program was followed by three students from the Faculty of Education, specifically Counseling, Psychology, and Early Childhood Education. Specifically, each department sent one student that passed its internal selection process. Putri Milenia Gusdian was eventually selected by the department of guidance and counseling as a delegate for the program of Bachelor of Counseling and Guidance at Management and Science University, Malaysia.

This program starts from mid-February to early July 2020. As preparation for going to Malaysia, the student had to fill several forms from MSU, such as the Global Mobility Program form, the Health Declaration form, and also the foreign agreement letter. In preparation for admission, the student applied for a student visa at the Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta. Next, the student chose 4 courses, specifically Group Leadership, Theories in Counseling and Psychotherapy, Group Counseling, and Multicultural Counseling. All the documents were sent to MSU through Kantor Urusan Internasional dan Kemitraan UNY.

Following the student's arrival into Malaysia, the student went to the MSU Hospital to go through the general medical check-up. The student also went to the MSU Office to give the passport and to get some administration done. As of 18th March 2020, because of the pandemic and instruction to Movement Control Order (MCO) from Malaysia government, students are doing all the academic or non-academic activities from home until the end of the program. But, the class system was not as much different between offline and online classes, since the department requests lecturers to always do a zoom meeting during the class. In general, the class systems in guidance and counseling at UNY and at MSU do not differ significantly except for the higher learning enthusiasm of MSU students. It might happen because there is not a huge gap between a student and a lecturer, they can freely engage in class sessions. (end)
